Check if object exists - Objective C -


instead of recreating object on , on again, there way can check if object exists in if statement?

assuming object reference set nil if there no object, can use

nsthing *myobj = nil;  if (!myobj)     myobj = [[nsthing alloc] init]; [myobj message];
