thank answer @mrampton! quoted rvm above. gem install fcgi doesn't work (error: while executing gem ... (errno::eacces) permission denied - /kunden/homepages/17/d123456789)
i fear messed server code: http://schalanda.name/static/rails_on_rtr/rails_on_rtr.html#quickstart
which gem doesnt work well. gives me no info (also no error).
other gems have tried don't work well:
(uiserver):u64138477:~ > gem install copland fetching: copland-1.0.0.gem (100%) error: while executing gem ... (errno::eacces) permission denied - /kunden/homepages/17/d123456789 (uiserver):u64138477:~ > gem install formtastic fetching: activesupport-3.0.9.gem (100%) error: while executing gem ... (errno::eacces) permission denied - /kunden/homepages/17/d123456789
what "rvm info" say? other gems able install?
upon installing rvm should have gem installed , ready use default -- without need use sudo interacting it.
